Background

As a new start up, the cyber security training company CybSafe needed to gain the market’s attention. Strapped for cash, it chose to do so via digital content.

Digital content in the sector is often predictable, with companies continually offering simple, rehashed cyber security advice.

This content series – which ran for years – used stories and psychological insights to put CybSafe on the map.

Results

As this content series developed, CybSafe became known for its pioneering approach and, by association, its pioneering security awareness training platform.

After just a few years in business, the Forrester declared CybSafe a ‘leader’ in its Security Awareness and Training Solutions – alongside only three other companies.

More importantly, the series had major revenue results. Over time, CybSafe’s content marketing helped the once small startup land huge clients like John Lewis, Credit Suisse, Air Canada, HM Government and the NHS.
